Changes!

So from the looks of things my last post was in June. so I will be doing some catch up here. Its almost Christmas and we've got our tree up and our house decorated except for on side of the door outside. Jason bought some lights to go outside and the blue ones weren't quite long enough to get the window and the door, so we went to walmart and bought another blue strand. When Jason had them all put up he then pluged in the lights to see that the one we had just barely bought at Walmart didn't work. So we took them back and are going to buy the other ones at Lowes so they match the other blue ones because Walmarts didn't quite match either.
So since June there has been a few changes. Jason no longes works at Home Depot. He now works at LeGrand Johnson as their Cost Account. It has been a great blessing for us for him to be able to get such a great job. He's going into accounting so its been really nice that he has been able to find a job in his field before he even has graduated. What a great start! I no longer work at Walmart anymore. I now work at Perry, Malmberg & Perry as a Legal Assistant. What a great job. I work set hours Monday - Friday. No more weekends for me. Which is another great thing about Jason new job because he works the same shift that I do, so I now get to see him every day. The best part about our same schedule is I no longer go to church alone. :)
So come December 13th Jason and I will have been together for 5 years and two years ago was when he proposed. I can't believe how much time flies.
Hopefully I will be able to get some pictures up loaded soon, I left my camera in my sisters car and that I will do a little more updated more often so it's not so spaced out and I don't remember things that are going on.

Time for some catch up!

Ok, so I'm really bad at this blog thing so i'm gonna try to do some catching up here. So Back in March I quit Lynns and went to Qwest. But I am no longer at Qwest and now at the new Wal-Mart in Logan as a Cashier. It's actually not a bad job, i'm liking it, I like all the new people I meet and the flexible schedule. And the best part is its a 15 min walk from my house or a 2 min drive I like being this close to work. But my Bossman Bret gave me a see you later cake instead of a going goodbye cake. Theres a good chance I will still go work there every once and awhile when they need help, especially around the Holidays.
Then at the beginning of June we went to Yellowstone with my family which was really fun. We went on a really fun hike up around Speicemans Ridge (which it rained, snowed, hailed a little and even the wind was a little bad) But it was still a lot of fun. We saw a few bears, but all the good pictures are on my parents camera. So I posted a picture of a wolf we saw on our way home. Also on Sunday when we were there it snowed on us about half the day. There was about 3 inch on the ground and then an hour after it quit snowing it was all gone. Happy Anniversary!!!!!
On June 19th Jason and I celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary. I can't believe it has already been a year. It has gone by so fast. But I am so excited to be married to my best friend, he is really the greatest person in the world and I love him so much. For our anniversary we went to Salt Lake City for one night and then to Park City for one night. When we got to our hotel in SLC He had surprised me with the Romance Package which had sparkling apple cider and chocolate covered strawberries (yummy) and a 2:00 check out. No waking up early for us.....except we still ended up gettin up early because we had to make sure we made it to breakfast on time.

Then after we left the hotel on saturday we went to Timpanogos Cave which was really fun. This pictures is of a fault line we walked in. It goes up about a 12o feet, wouldn't want to be there when an earthquake hit. But I would have to say I like Minnatonka Cave better. Then we went to Park City Saturday night. We went a drove around and looked at a lot of the stuff they had there. Went and looked at the Olympic Park and even went to Silly Sundays on Main Street. Which is basically like a farmers market. We had a lot of fun. Just still can't believe we've been married a year.
Love you Sweetie!!!

Then last Saturday (the 27th) Jason and I decided to hike the Wellsvilles for the first time ever. We had our friends Heather and her husband Tyler go with us. Let me tell you we had a really fun adventure. So for those of you who have ever hiked the Wellsvilles before probably know that you should stay on the trail. Well yea none of us have ever hiked the Wellsvilles and nobody gave us any warnings about leaving the trail. (because my family loves to leave trails and kinda just do our own thing, so it sounded like a good idea) So a few hours into the hike we saw a cave in a group of rocks, so we thought it would be fun to go over and look at the cave. So it was really steep walking over to the cave (and keep in mind we were walking in a whole bunch of loose rocks and had to hold on too grass to help us not slide down the rocks)Finally made it to the cave and sat and rested for a few minutes and then decide to head on. And we didn't want to go back the was we came so we went on the other side of the rocks and hiked up to the top of that ridge ( Which was still hiking up a steep hill with loose rocks, but wasn't as bad as the other side.) But when we got to the top we decided it looked easier to go out a different way instead of hiking back to the trail. So we thought we would hike down one of the ridges which would basically take us straight out to my parents house. Yea that was the big mistake. We ended up going through a whole bunch of brush that was really thick and then going through really thick trees which you basically were walking on top of because you had to smash them down just to get through them and then when we got to a valley which would have been really easy to walk through there was a whole bunch of stinging nittle (and of course we were all were shorts) So we had to walk back up one of the hills (thankfully it wasn't to steep of a hike, and we knew there were pine trees up on top so the trees wouldn't be bad) But for us to get to the top we had to walk up through more trees, which seemed a lot more thicker than on the other side we climbed down on. By the time we got back up to the hill the trees thined out a little. We still had to climb through a bunch of trees to get down and then the last hill we hiked down was really steep and we literally had to hold on to whatever we could so we didn't slide down the hill. We finally made it to my parents house and 9:30. Our legs are all scratch up and we all a little sore, but we survived the Wellsvilles. It was actually kinda fun going through all of that, just wish we would have known about it and been a little more prepared for it. We thought we would be gone about 5 hours, but we were gone for 10 hrs. And when we told my parents what happened they just laughed at us and said yea we could have told you what to expect if you leave the trail. Would have been nice to been told that before we left. Sadly we didn't get any pictures of what the trees looked like because inside the trees there really wasn't a good spot to stop and get a picture. The one spot we did stop at to rest end up having a few ant hills in that Jason and Heather sat in so we left that spot as soon as possible. Sorry no pics!

Sunblock...What's that!

So on Thursday the 19 Jason and I went skiing at the Beav. It was a lot of fun. Jason taught me how to parallel. It was really fun. I still have a lot of improving to do, but i'm getting better. Jason is a good Teacher. He has been skiing since he was two, so I feel safe with letting him teach me. :) Jason and I also ended up getting sunburned because it was such a nice and warm day. When we left it was 50 degrees. But as you can see Jason had a hat and sunglasses on and I did not. So I got sunburn worse than he did. I posted a picture of what I looked like the next day below. Really Embrassing. So enjoy!
Jason not telling the truth about him falling. Wish I would have gotten it on camera!

Look at how good I am getting.

Brace yourself for a good Laugh! This is what I looked like when I woke up Friday morning. My poor face and eyes. I laid in bed pretty much all day with a wet cloth on my face.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

So for St. Paddy's day we went to the Jazz game, which was really fun. It was really fun. We went to Red Robins for dinner first. This picuters shows how high up we were. We won the game, which was really good.

This is everyone after the game.

Anniversary Inn

So for Valentines we went to the Anniversary Inn. It was so awesome. We both had to work before we went so I got there before he did by like an hour. But he was so sweet because he brought me flowers and chicken nuggets. (I love chicken nuggets) The room looked really cool too. It was just really nice to have a night away from home and just relax.

We had a pinball and pool table in our room.

Also had a fountain drink and hotdog cooker.

Happy Valentines!

Jason and I had a great weekend, and it didn't even involve romance. Weird for Valentines and being our first one being married as well. On Friday we went to Draper with my family and spent the night in a hotel. We went and ate at Chuck-a-grama haha (yes that is what I said. that is what my little sister who is four calls it.) We had my cousin Cheyanne come and spend the night with us and Tacie was so excited to be "camping." (in a hotel) Then Saturday we went to my Aunt and Uncle's house in Draper and with my dad's side of the family we went to the Draper Temple Open House. Which was really amazing. I loved it so much. It was amazing how you just knew you were in the house of the Lord and how strong the spirit was even before the building had been dedicated. It was absolutely gorgeous, the detail was amazing. I loved the fact that we got to spend the experience with my family.
Then after we went back to my Aunt and Uncle's house and had lunch. We then braved the weather and went home. The roads weren't bad until we hit Layton, but we made it home safe. And then we went to Jason's parents house for a little while cause his Uncle Doug and Aunt Kathy had stopped by to visit. So it was really nice getting to catch up with them, since we dont get to see them that often. So Valentines was still really good. We are going to go to the Anniversary Inn on Wed. night so celebrate Valentines which will be really nice and then in March we are going to a Jazz game. Which will be each others gift.
Happy Valentines!

Catch Up on Christmas and New Years!

I know it's February and Valentines is in less than a week. But I am finally posting what we did for Christmas and New Years. Our first being married. :) So for Christmas we went over to Jason parents house and I think it was 7:00 in the morning and opened presents with them. They got us a WII and a few other things. Then around 11:00 we went to my parents house and they got us an outdoor oven that you can take camping or use outside in the summertime when you don't want to cook inside and in emergency's like when the power goes out. I think it is way awesome. I got Jason a camel backpack, a shaver/trimmer. He got me an I pod dock and a picture of Christ.

Isn't he a good model!

And look at the Ipod dock, beautiful. Haha, he got sick of me always taking his and moving it and not putting it back where it went, so he got me my own.

So one of his presents was stuffed with toliet paper and in his stocking I got him an axe and he thought that they went really well together. (exspecially for camping)

And then he opened his last present which had coal in it. Haha a three year tradition and going. I gave it to him first three years ago, and then last year he gave it to me and now I gave it back to him. Now he is definitly set for camping.

And this is my favorite gift. I really wanted a picture of Christ to put up in our house and he got this for me. I was soooo excited.

So since it was our first Christmas together and didn't have Stockings, we decided that we would surprise each other and pich each others out and stuff them. So this is the one that I got Jason. Its big and fluffy and has to dangly balls hanging from it.

He got me one that had a dog hooked on to it that sang. I love it!

This is what my stocking had in it. He got me a big kiss, some boxes of brownies, a tape that i can play my ipod in my car, orange sticks and three pairs of earrings.

For his stocking I got him a bag of dark kisses, dark minatures, car freshners, and axe, deodrant, and two movies.

For setting a limit on what we were spending for Christmas I think we did pretty good. We only did 30 dollars each on our stockings. Pretty good huh!

New Years

For New Years we went to Las Vegas with his family. It was the first time that I have ever been there. It was a fun trip. Definitly not what I am use too being around and definitly a new experience. It was the first time I have ever been in a Taxi and on a monorail. We went to Hoover Dam for a Day which was really fun.
We were in two places at once and time zones. I was in Neveda and it was 11:30 and Jason was in Arizona and it was 12:30. Weird Huh!

Look how low the water was

Jason, his dad and brother went on this ride. Which was on the top of the Stratoshpere. They were crazy. I wouldn't ride it.

Fremont Street

This was a guy on the Strip. He was really good, he acted like a robot.
It was really fun and we really enjoyed our first Christmas and New Years together.
